Visa Requirement for Cambodia

As a Philippines passport holder, I am allowed to enter Cambodia without visa and can stay in the country for 21 days. All I have to bring is my passport to show to immigration for stamping.

I traveled with my American travel buddy so he needs a visa to enter the country. The following below are the steps we did to get his E-Visa:

E-Visa

Since, we are staying in Nha Trang it was hard for us to go to Cambodian embassy in Saigon just to get the visa since it's time consuming at the same time a tiring trip of 9 hours. We find it very easy to get an E-Visa online than going to the embassy. All you have to do is to go to the website below:

evisa.gov.kh

Fill out the form with the needed information and upload an electronic photo of you in a passport size then pay them using your credit card. They will send you back your E-Visa within 3 working days through email.

Note: Prepare credit/debit card for payment, passport size photo in digital format of JPG or PNG, and your passport information.

After you received a copy of your E-Visa, you need to print two copies to bring with you during your trip to Cambodia and present one copy to the Immigration section as your entry visa and the other copy when you leave the country. But, with my experience with my American travel buddy he did not show any copy no more during our exit. So, it is really optional to print two copies but just be prepared because that's what they said in the letter after you received the E-Visa in your email:

Reminder
  1. Please check all the information on your e-Visa Certificate to make sure they are correct.
  2. You will see the label of "Cambodia E-VISA" in your credit card statement transaction.
  3. Your e-Visa is only valid for a single (1) entry.
  4. No sticker will be issued to you for e-Visa. Please print out 2 copies of this e-Visa certificate. Pass one (1) copy to immigration as your travel Visa at entry and one (1) copy upon departure. For your convenience, you may cut your printed e-Visa and staple to your passport.
  5. e-Visa printout in black and white is acceptable.
  6. All your information will be checked on arrival at the immigration Online System.
  7. At the checkpoint, please go directly to the e-Visa immigration counter for processing. Look for e-Visa signboard. If not sure, please approach the officer for instructions to avoid unnecessary delay. For Siem Reap Airport, please go to any counter from 02- 08. For Phnom Penh Airport, please go to any counter from 03 - 09.  Note: We traveled through bus in Bavet (Svay Rieng) port border.
  8. You are required to fill out departure and arrival cards at the entry and exit point.
  9. Entry to invalid e-Visa ports is prohibited. Please refer to our website at http://evisa.gov.kh for the valid point of entry using e-Visa
  10. E-Visa fee is non-refundable.
  11. Please check the attachment to your email for your approval e-Visa certificate.
  12. If you receive an email but cannot received your e-Visa approved certificate, please contact the following below:
