E-VISA FEES
We traveled by bus going to Cambodia so we entered the port where they accepted the E-Visa for tourist. There are ports that won't accept E-Visa so, you better check the website below if your port of entry in Cambodia is included in accepting E-Visa:
Kingdom of Cambodia That website above was the one we used in getting my travel buddy's tourist visa and everything you wanna know is already written in their site. Here is the cost of the E-Visa we've got paid through credit card. BUS TICKETS COST
As what I've mentioned in my blog about traveling by bus, we booked our tickets through Camboticket.com with the total cost of $58.87 for a round trip tcikets.
The said cost was for $14 each so, you will be shocked when you see the hidden charges when you paid it through credit card. But, it is better to pay their service than to go to the Mekong Express office just to book our trip. Besides, Pham Ngu Lao street is very far from Nha Trang City. How To Travel By Bus From Vietnam To Cambodia TUKTUK TAXI FARE
The above picture is the tuktuk taxi. This is the mode of transportation in Cambodia. When we arrived at the Phnom Penh Central Market, we needed the tuktuk taxi to bring us to our guest house. We spent $3 for one way trip. The next morning, we asked the guest house manager to get us tuktuk to bring us to the Vietnam embassy. The manager gave us a good deal of $6 for the driver to bring us to the embassy and waited for us outside until we completed the processing of visa in the office and he brought us back to our guest house. The next morning, we checked out at 10 a.m. and requested another tuktuk taxi from the manager to bring us to the bus station at 12 noon. We wanted also the driver to tour us in the city while killing the time. The manager gave us a great deal of $10 for a 2-hours city tour then send us to the bus station after. So, we spent the total of $19 for our 3 days stay in Cambodia.
HOTEL RATES
As what I've written in my blog where to book your hotel, we spent $5 per night at Grand View Guest House. We booked this hotel in booking.com for free and supposed to pay $22 for two nights but the manager couldn't find our booking in his computer so he gave us the rate of $5 a night. But, you will get what you paid. To read about my blog about where to book hotel online, read the link below:
Where To Book Your Hotel Oline OTHER EXPENSES
The important things you need to write in your bucket list are the food, water and snack. We spent $10 for take out food in KFC. Then, we needed more water so we got big bottles for our 3 days stay. Then, we also tried the fruits as our snacks in the street vendor for $1 per kg or $1.50 per kg like Lychee and Mangosteen. I would like to inform also about the guest house toiletries because they did not give us shampoo, soap, tissue, toothbrush and toothpaste during our stay so better include that in your budget list.
